The Red Butte

Did you enjoy yesterday’s entry about the Navaho sandstone?

Well, I did also. So, let’s consider another interesting Geological formation and see what it might also tell us about Noah’s Flood.

The Red Butte formation is located near the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

I was privileged to see it on a recent trip to the Grand Canyon. In fact, the picture you are viewing for today’s blog entry is one that I took of the Red Butte while on that trip. The Butte itself is seen in the distance beyond the edge of the canyon.

You will notice that the Red Butte sits on top of the many layers of the Grand canyon. Its location is significant in that it reveals much about its origin and the origin of the Grand Canyon itself.

To discover why the Red Butte is where it is and why it looks like it does, HERE’S THE LINK
