26 of the best images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope

A friend of DIT is a big fan of the Hubble telescope.

He will especially appreciate these images

but actually everyone will and should

because there is soooooo much space 'out there' with an amazing appearance.

What is the origin of the stars?

Some say they just happened as a result of the 'big bang'.

The Bible says (in Genesis 1:16) that God made them.

God made the two great lights,
the greater light to govern the day,
and the lesser light to govern the night;
He made the stars also.

             New American Standard Bible

The Hubble Space Telescope shows images of some of what God did when He created the stars.

Today is the First Day of Summer

At last !!!  Summer is officially here.

And today is the first day.

Joy and happiness !!!

Vacations, swimming pools, and more.

It is also the longest day of the year.  WOW.

But,  after today, and until the winter solstice in December, the time of daylight will get shorter and shorter and shorter and

Then at the Winter Solstice, the shortest daylight day of the year, the days begin to get longer again until we reach next year’s “first day of summer”.

And on and on the cycle goes day after day, year after year.

Hmmm. Sounds like some kind of ‘design’ here.

Anyway, today, June 21, is the Summer Solstice, the First day of summer, and the day of the year with most daylight, hence the longest day of the year.

Thought you would want to know.

No Click through today.  Just go out and enjoy the L O N G day !
