Bad Teeth in Egyptian mummies!

Some readers of this blog are Dentists so this article is ‘for them’ and, of course, for the rest of you folks also.

Whether you have teeth or not, or ‘work on them’ or not, you will hopefully find this interesting.

Seems that cavities, periodontal disease, abscesses, and other tooth maladies are not just a recent thing that we can blame on the 20th and 21st Century sweets and other causes.

Apparently Egyptian mummies have been found, using CT (Computerized Tomography Radiology studies), to have had the same types of tooth problems that we have today.
