Rampant Violence -- What's the Problem?

Almost daily we hear of various violent acts being perpetrated by or upon others.

This is becoming very common, sad to say, in Schools, Colleges, and Universities.

The most recent example of violence is that of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Although the Marathon Bombing is not a 'School' Bombing, the bottom line underlying principle as to the cause has the same origin.

So, Why?  Why is there more and more violence?

Various ideas and thoughts are bandied about.

But almost never do you hear the main underlying reason.
