3 years of the Sun in 3 minutes

No, this is not a fancy way to get a fast suntan.

Rather it is a NASA / SDO collection of images that let's us look at the sun and not go blind.

Not only that, we can see many solar flares, two partial eclipses of the sun by the moon (at 00:30 and 2 minutes 28 seconds), the transit of Venus (at 1 minutes 51 seconds) and sunspots.

As the accompanying article states: "the video may seem repetitive to some viewers, but if you can stick it out till the end, you are treated to a four-wavelength view, which shows how different the sun appears depending on what wavelengths you are measuring."
