First -- the dog pictured here is not the one greeting the soldier
and Second -- the Soldier in the video was not coming home for Thanksgiving. He had been gone on a long deployment and was finally returning home.
But since tomorrow is thanksgiving and all over the USA many folks will be traveling back to their home or will be going to visit friends.
We thought you would enjoy this amazing reunion of a soldier and his dog.
And hopefully you will receive or give a joyful (though not as intense) reunion to your family and friends and whomever tomorrow as you celebrate Thanksgiving.
So even though the link today shows an incredible reunion and welcome home --
it wasn't really a reunion for the official Thanksgiving holiday
but
it was truly a type of Thanksgiving when the dog was reunited with his soldier master.
