The Vacation suggestion for this week is a tour by ICR (Institute for Creation Research) to Yosemite National Park and Mammoth Lakes. It is a bus tour and will be Sept 12-20, 2009.Having personally been on 3 ICR tours in the past, though not this one, the 3 I did take were great, so there is no reason to think this will not be likewise.
According to the ICR website description of this tour: “Highlights include Half Dome, Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, Tuolumne Meadows, a gondola ride to the top of Mammoth Mountain, Glacier Point, and free time to enjoy day-hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, fishing, bicycling and overlooks.”
The lectures will be given by experts in their fields (Geology, etc.), travel will be by ‘luxury coach’, and hotels and motels will be in Yosemite Valley, Wawona, and Mammoth lakes.
