Jesus Lizard runs on Water.

The Jesus Lizard is technically called the Basiillisks Lizard but has the nickname of Jesus lizard because of its ability to run on water.

This 'on the water' reference is due to the fact that Matthew 14:22-34 references the event when The Lord God Jesus Christ walked on water.

With that in mind, check out the explanation of the Jesus Lizard's unusual ability to walk on water.

! Peter 3:18

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,

the Just for the unjust,

That He might bring us to God,

being put to death in the flesh,

but quickened by the Spirit

                         1 Peter 3:18  KJV

Yes, Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins

and since He was perfect and sinless,

His substitute death payment was accepted by God the Father

Who, on the 3rd day raised Jesus

and He left the tomb and lives today and forever.

Accept His substitute death

and when you die you will live

with Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit

forever in Heaven.

Small Dogs that adapt well to apartment living

A friend recently was walking her BIG dog (not the one shown here) and it suddenly and unexpectedly took off like a flash -- chasing a cat -- and pulling her down.
B A N G   !!!  THUMP  !!!!   P A I N !!!

Hmmm.  This has happened at least twice.  Sigh.

She still loves the dog -- but hopefully is thinking of something smaller (perhaps like the one shown here) to accompany the Big One (for which the walking duties have now been turned over to the husband.)

Today's link is to a list (with photos) of  29 smaller dogs (aka 'lap dogs' / 'apartment dogs')  that she might want to consider.

HERE'S THE LINK to Good Apartment dogs - list

And here is an even longer list of dogs (also with photos)  that do well in apartments and don't require a lot of walking (and sometimes no walking is required) -- that my friend with the humongous dog mentioned above might want to consider

Expensive Dogs only Rich People can afford

Recently I ran into a couple with a realllllly beautiful dog --

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel --

and when I saw it mentioned in today's video, I understood why it was so beautiful.

That is also why this video was chosen for today's DIT --

because that dog is in it along with 9 other amazing dogs.

The dog pictured here (though in the category of reallllllly smart dogs) is a Toy Poodle and didn't fit into this category of really expensive dogs (but it could have been because as you know, Poodles are not cheap).

Anyway, Check these really expensive dogs out.

Their history and information (except for the 85,000 year history of one dog -- which is an 'old earth' evolutionary concept) is very interesting -- even if you are not a 'dog lover'

John 3:14-16

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,

even so must the Son of man (Jesus) be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him (Jesus)

should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world,

that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;

but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned:

but he that believeth not is condemned already,

because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Could One Flood Form Many Rock Layers?

All over the earth we repeatedly see rock layers piled high upon each other.

These are especially visible in cuts in the sides of mountains during the building of roads.

Surely you have seen these many times

but usually you give them no thought

or you recall being told by evolutionary thinkers that each individual layer took a million or so years to form.

But is that correct?

And if so, why is there usually no erosion in each layer?

And why do you sometimes see dead trees puncturing many layers?

Could those trees have lived and grown for millions of years if they are standing in 20 or 30 or hundreds or more layers ???

Today's link will give you something to consider about how these layers formed.

Perhaps they are not each millions of years old after all.

HERE'S THE LINK TO Could one flood form many rock layers
