11 foot 8 Bridge Top 11 Best Crashes

We have seen this bridge before (last week) causing havoc to a truck trying to beat the odds.

Tonight we are going to view a brief video showing us the top 11 best crashes at this bridge.

This bridge, known as the "can opener bridge", is located in Durham, N.C. USA and has finally been fixed by adding 8 more inches to its height -- so hopefully the crashes have finally ended.

So, as a farewell to the innumerable number of crashes it has produced in the past, we close with an interesting compilation of the 'best'.

- 71 C (- 96 F) World's coldest Inhabited place: Oymyakon, Siberia

People who know people associated with DIT's (this website) know that one of the frequent viewers likes to organize a group and go to far away and unusual places.

Well, the place we will be seeing today on the click through is one such place

BUT Organizer, (and you know who you are) do NOT put this on your list of places to visit.

It's too cold for your "Intrepid Travelers" crew.  : )

But we can visit it vicariously.

So HERE'S THE LINK TO - 71 C (- 96 F) World's coldest Inhabited place: Oymyakon, Siberia

Sunday Hymn: Standing on the Promises

Another favorite of many.

Sing or hum along.

HERE'S THE LINK TO Standing on the Promises

‪Standing on the promises of Christ my King, ‬
‪Through eternal ages let His praises ring,‬
‪Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,   ‬
‪Standing on the promises of God.   ‬

‪Chorus: Standing, standing, ‬
‪Standing on the promises of God my Savior; ‬
‪Standing, standing,   ‬
‪I’m standing on the promises of God. ‬

‪2 Standing on the promises that cannot fail, ‬
‪When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail, ‬
‪By the living Word of God I shall prevail,   ‬
‪Standing on the promises of God. ‬

‪3 Standing on the promises I now can see Perfect, ‬
‪present cleansing in the blood for me; ‬
‪Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,   ‬
‪Standing on the promises of God. ‬

‪4 Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord, ‬
‪Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord, ‬
‪Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,   ‬
‪Standing on the promises of God. ‬

‪5 Standing on the promises I shall not fall, ‬
‪List’ning every moment to the Spirit’s call. ‬
‪Resting in my Savior as my All in all,   ‬
‪Standing on the promises of God.‬

Hero Cat

 Today's click through is unusual.

Why? you ask.

Because usually we don't think of cats as being aggressive protectors.

But the cat in this short video is a hero by saving a toddler from a dog attack.

Bulldog sees Cheetah on TV, calls sister for backup

Those of you who have or had pets -- especially dogs -- will understand and relate to this video.

Our dogs (one is pictured here) used to watch TV and bark at the animals they saw.

Today's click through is an extreme and humorous example of such behavior.
