The Southern Lights

All of us have heard of the Northern lights, the Aurora borealis. And many of us have probably seen them. I vividly recall seeing them years and years ago one night while flying back via the Northern route from Europe.  Beautiful!

Indeed, the Northern Lights are truly a sight to behold.

But, did you know that there are also Southern Lights at the South Pole, the Aurora Australis.

And the Southern Lights are also beautiful.

How do I know that since I have not seen them?

Well, recently astronauts at the International Space Station photographed the Southern Lights.

Want to see what they saw?  Then, HERE’S THE LINK.
