969 Years? How can this be? Surely this is some kind of mistake. Maybe it is 969 weeks? or months? No, that doesn’t calculate well either.
So, like many, you probably find this long age of 969 years mind boggling.
But, believe it or not that is what the Bible teaches! Methuselah really lived 969 years.
And, according to the Bible, Methuselah, though the oldest man ever, was accompanied by others who came very close to his age.
For example: Jared lived to be 962, Noah 950, Adam 930, just to mention a few.
