Why Recent Creation?
Well, AIG has done it again. This time it is a really good article about Recent Creation and why it is important.
As you know, most of our schools today teach an old earth and long long ages. But, the Bible teaches a young earth of approximately 6000 years in age.
Because of the teachings in our current secular educational system, "...many scholars today do not believe that the Bible is historically accurate prior to the time of King David in ancient Israel, despite archeological evidence that confirms biblical information from the times of Abraham, Joseph, and the conquest of Canaan.”
This article, which was posted on the AIG website on June 16, gives a clear and easy to understand explanation of these different world views (old earth vs. young earth), their implications, and why Recent Creation is important. I think you will find it very interesting.
