This is a touching and God-honoring story about a coach at UT and his daughter, Sydney. She had “a rare disease called Holoprosencephaly, which caused Sydney's brain to stop developing within the first three months in the womb.”
Likely and understandably you think it odd to have a link to a sports article and, yes, in the middle of the article there is a lot of sports info that will be of interest only to SEC fans (and UT fans in particular). So if you are not one of those folks, you can skim through that middle part. Although even the middle part has some really interesting and God honoring information.
But, It is the beginning and ending of this article (the ending beginning with the section titled “A Prayer Answered”) that is mainly the reason for today’s post.
Bottom line: Whether you are a College football fan or not, this is still worth your time to read.
So, with that said, HERE’S THE LINK.
