1600 year old Codex Sinaiticus Bible online

Well, after that distressing news yesterday on the blog, here is some good and really interesting news.

According to an article on the BBC website, “About 800 pages of the earliest surviving Christian Bible have been recovered and put on the internet.”

Originally this Book, the Codex Sinaiticus, written in Greek, had about 1,460 pages according to the BBC article.

The 800 pages of this 4th Century Book which are available and online are not all complete pages. Indeed, many are just fragments but sill this is an very exciting find.

To read a more detailed and very interesting and informative article about this which was published on the Breitbart.com website, HERE’S THE LINK.
