Well, it seems that Philip (all hams go only by their first names) took his Technician test on Dec 1, the day that the article about Hams was posted, and PASSED.
So Philip is now a Ham.
Because of this, we are encouraging you to read or reread the Dec 1 DIT entry.
Perhaps you can be Ham # 700,002!
