Wow, this is an interesting odd thing of nature -- Tubular Clouds !Tubular Clouds, also referred to as Morning Glory Clouds and Roll Clouds, are seen in many locations around the world but they are especially well known in Australia where they happen every year.
According to one article I read they occur in the Spring. Alas, another said every Fall! But whether fall or spring, apparently they occur annually in Australia, especially in the area of Burketown, Queensland..)
Sometimes they are observed to be 600 miles in length and they have been tracked at speeds up to 35 mph.
Seemingly the cause of these is still not known. But they are real and very unusual.
