Another Barna survey


We have entered another year and many of you have doubtless made your "New Year's Resolutions" and have included such things on your list as "Read the Bible more".

But, as you are also likely well aware, just simply reading the Bible does not always translate into a changed life.

This is especially true when it comes to young Christians.

For some reason, new Believers, do not seem to realize that the Bible is filled not only with history and information on 'how to be saved' but it is mainly intended to help them grow into the Godly lifestyle that God desires for them.

Why do I say this?

Well, there is a recent Barna survey which is eye opening in this regard.

What does it say? Welllllll

8 out of 10 young Christians can't apply their faith to everyday life, according to a recent Barna survey.

And there is even more distressing information revealed in this survey.

For example, the list of the most influential Christians may amaze you as will the current views about who is saved, the number who tithe,  and why people are leaving the Church.
