It is that time of the year again when the Perseid Meteor shower occurs.
This year, according to an article on the Fox News site: “The best time to watch for meteors will be from the late-night hours of Wednesday, Aug, 11 on through the predawn hours of Aug. 13 – two full nights and early mornings.”
If you live in a city with all the bright lights, you probably will be somewhat disappointed as I have been on many occasions when trying to view this annual event while in a city.
But, if you are in a countryside location or somewhere where it is really dark, you may see up to 60 or more of these shooting stars every hour.
So, get your reclining lawn chair, go outside, and start watching.
This article will tell you more about where to look and how and more. HERE’S THE LINK
And even if you are in a city and can’t see many of these shooting stars, you will still learn a lot about this beautiful annual event. HERE’S THE LINK.
