The Net Bible

Yesterday we told you about the “Net Bible” and suggested you might want to use it for your Daily Bible Reading Resolution as you read the Bible through in a year.

We also mentioned that this was a new Bible to us but that we had read the list of folks who endorsed it and found several names that gave it a stamp of credibility. We also checked with a good friend who is a Bible Scholar who also had good things to say about the organization which is behind it.

So, with that said, you might want to consider downloading this Bible (it is a free Download) to your computer (IF you have a Windows computer, that is.)

Alas, If you have a Mac or Linux based computer, you are going to have to do your reading and researching On Line as apparently the Net Bible is mainly a Windows based Download. Oh well.

For those of you who have Macs or Linux computers, or if you don’t want to download the Bible, all is not lost, as there is an online version and the aids and helps are on line and easy to use. They include such things as a Study Dictionary, Study Maps, Word Studies, Sermon Illustrations, and etc.

For folks who like to have a ‘hard copy’, a Bible that you can hold in your hands, they also have those which you can purchase. The blog picture for today shows some of those.
