Well, it is that time of the year again --The time when the old year ends and a new year begins.And, as this is being uploaded to the web, the famous Times Square New Year’s Eve ball has just dropped. And 2010 has begun !
Some people ignored the event and just slept through it.
BUT
Many folks saw the new year “in” while in prayer.
Others celebrate the coming of the new year in crazed and drunken parties.
Still others will be at home alone or with family or friends or at calmer parties but stop to watch via TV the Ball Drop in Times Square.
And, each year that ball gets larger, more ornate, and more expensive.
This year is no exception.
As you probably know, the Ball is made of (gasp) Waterford Crystal !
