Book: Killing Jesus

Recently a person who had noticed that his friend had been reading the book,  "Killing Jesus" by O'Reilly, asked him what he thought about the book.

The reader of the book said he had not yet finished it but thought it was great.

Then additional questioning began among several in the room.

The general line of thought by the questioners was that O'Reilly did not state in the book that Jesus was God.

The reader said he had no problem with that.

No problem?

If Jesus was not God and if Jesus had not died to pay the sin penalty for mankind, then why did Jesus have to be killed?

It seems that O'Reilly has totally missed the point of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

If you are considering reading this book, perhaps you should first read the following  three book reviews.
