Life on the International Space Station

You have doubtless seen pictures, such as this one, of the International Space Station.

And, looking at those pictures, one might imagine it to be a nice big roomy place.

You might think that everything is neat, with no clutter, and 'minimalist' like the homes of my 'minimalist' friends.

You know, those friends who never have anything out of place.

Well, not so fast.

The inside of the space station doesn't look anything like I had imagined.

I knew there would surely be 'clutter' and not a lot of space (pun intended) but didn't realize the extent of it all.

Even I, one who is definitely not a 'minimalist', was stunned.

The 'clutter', of course, isn't 'clutter' to those who live there and is necessary.

But, minimalists definitely would not be 'happy' at the International Space Station.

Nor would a person with claustrophobia.

A friend of DIT sent us this link.

And seeing that it is a 25 minute video, I thought, "who would have or take the time to view this."

Which is why this is being posted on a Saturday.  Football season is over.  Not too many folks are watching basketball yet since March Madness has not begun.  And, it is winter so you don't have to cut the grass or work in the yard.

So, today, Saturday, is a great time to check out 'your taxes at work' in the International Space Station.  You will be glad you did.

This is amazing and is nothing like I had imagined.   HERE'S THE LINK
