A zillion Helpful Hints

A friend of DIT sent an email with a few of these hints.  Her email was so interesting that we went on a search on the web to see where they might have originated.

We didn't find the short version she had sent.  But there was a much longer version from which they had come.

Alas and alack, there are a couple in this long version that we wish we could remove but can't figure out how to do that.  

So, as usual, when viewing such things, be aware that the "world" inserts its ideas and words.  Sigh.
