Justified by Faith? or Works?

You have probably heard people debate about this and perhaps have even participated in the discussion.

What discussion?

Well, it seems that many folks that think a person is Justified (made to be in right standing with God and hence able to go to heaven) based on what they have done (i.e. 'works').

Others say, no;

that one can only be Justified by Faith and works are not required for salvation.

Hmmmm.

Big difference.

So, what does the Bible say?

Well, the link today takes us to a scripture and a very short discussion about it.

First the scripture:

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law,
but by the faith of Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Jesus Christ,
that we might be justified by the faith of Christ,
and not by the works of the law;
for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
Galatians 2:16 KJV"
