Amelia Earhart Mystery Continues but ...

75 years ago, in July of 1937, Amelia Earhart disappeared while attempting to fly around the world at the level of the equator.

What happened to her has been a mystery about which I have wondered for years.

If you don't know much about Amelia Earhart and her many aviation related accomplishments, good old Wikipedia can fill in some of the blanks.  HERE'S THE LINK

Alas, it seems that a zillion ideas of what happened to Amelia and, Fred Noonan, her Navigator abound --

so the mystery of their disappearance remains unsolved.

Until ??? perhaps now ???

Why do I say that?

Wellllll, TIGHAR (The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery) has apparently done more study and has uncovered interesting new information which may ultimately lead to the solution.
