Hmmmm 1400 descendants in 99 years! And, she and her husband only had 11 children (seven sons and four daughters).Extrapolating from that, I wonder how many could have been on earth at the time of the flood.
You will recall that the life span before the flood was much longer than 99 years. For example, Adam died at age 930 and Methuselah (the oldest man) at 969.
Therefore, some believe the population of the earth at the time of the flood was close to what we are seeing today. Hmmm. Interesting. And something to ponder.
