Those of you who live in flat areas of the world probably are not familiar with the runaway truck ramps that are often seen in very hilly and mountainous areas of the world.

I have seen them many times and always wondered what really happens to a truck when it has lost its brakes and has to use the ramp to slow its speed and stop.
