I was sitting with a group of family and friends tonight with several interesting discussions occurring simultaneously. One of the topics dealt with the state of the Church today, why people are not attending, why so many Christians do not believe in the devil and the Holy Spirit (as noted in the Barna Poll we referenced a few days ago), why 20 % believe Christ sinned ! (also in that poll), what needs to be done to restore the Church to correct doctrinal teaching, etc. Then they all went to bed and I continued to ponder upon these things.
