Garments for the King

“All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia,
out of the ivory palaces,
whereby they have made thee glad”

            (Psalm 45:8).

This verse from the Book of Psalms in the Old Testament of the Bible is talking about Jesus.

This is but one of many many Old Testament prophecies about the then future advent (coming) of Jesus --

the advent of Christmas which we celebrated yesterday.

So what did this verse tell us about the little baby in the manger?

Today's brief devotional thought will explain.
