so the flowers shown here are “Forget Me Nots” which are, according to Wikipedia, the ‘flower’ for this holiday.
This holiday has only existed since 1978 and is observed on the first Sunday after Labor Day.
If you have grandparents, today is the day to give them a call or a visit.
And if you are a grandparent, then you are blessed with fond thoughts of your children and grandchildren and hopefully they will give you a call, a card, or a visit.
