Well, a friend of DIT who is an 'old timer' and lived during the time of the pictures to which we will be linking -- found this wonderful collection of
Old gas stations !!
As you view these, notice the price per gallon of the gas, the now 'antique' cars, the folks who washed the windshield, checked under the hood, pumped the gas, etc.
Most of these pictures seem to be circa 1940s to 1970's.
Old timers -- prepare for a trip down memory lane.
