Genesis 1-11 is not true history but that it came 'after the fact' and is a variation of 'histories' and 'stories' of other cultures that existed at or before the time of the writing of those Genesis chapters.
But, is that true?
Did Genesis build upon the stories of other cultures?
Or, was it the other way around and other cultures built upon or rehashed memories of the original Genesis account.
This is an important question and one which has a big place in the formation of a person's worldview.
