Lions, Tigers, Tigons, and Ligers

When I first saw this article, the first thought that went through my mind was the famous line "Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my….Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my…"

But that is not what this article is about.

Instead, this article tells of Tigons and Ligers.

Tigons?  Ligers?  What?

Well, believe it or not, there are such animals.

Pictured here is a Liger, which is a cross between a lion and a tiger.

And they (Tigons, Ligers, and other similar 'strange' animals) help explain about the animals on Noah's ark.
