Many of you have already seen this movie which opened in theaters this past weekend.
You had been told that this would be "true to the essence, values, and integrity" of the account of Noah.
But, If you did see it and if you are familiar with the Bible, you are likely now scratching your head because
it did NOT line up with the Biblical record.
If you have not yet seen the movie but are making plans to do so
or if you have already seen it
you should read the review to which we will be linking today.
Well, because this movie is filled with so many errors and inaccurate depictions of the Biblical account that one reviewer said it "may be the worst film I've ever seen."
Even the Director and writer of the movie, Darren Aronofsky, said it is "the least biblical film ever made"
So what exactly are these errors and problems? you ask.
They are almost innumerable but for one of the most comprehensive summaries --

You might think this is a silly question.
You may have a dog and have seen him/her go to the water dish and happily drink the water.
And you are probably assuming that they drink, well, like a dog.
But, what exactly is that?
How does a dog drink?
How does he get the water into his mouth?
This amazing slow motion video will likely be a surprise to you.
It was to us.
Who knew that dogs make their own little container to scoop up the water?

It is Spring and many drivers are hitting the road for trips or whatever.
But some have a harder time than others in getting out of the parking lot.
Maybe for this person it is best that they stay in the parking lot and not make it to the road.
That is why this DIT is titled: "Is this the worst driver ever?"
Want to see why?
Then HERE'S THE LINK to "worst driver ever"

What is that? you say.
Well, it is a most unusual weevil.
It is pictured here (photograph by Axel StrauB in a Wikipedia article).
This weevil is unusual in many ways in that --
It has a neck that resembles a giraffe --
It lives in only one place in the world (Madagascar) --
It lives in only one species of tree (the "giraffe beetle tree" aka Dichaetanthera arborea) --
it lays only one egg and this is deposited in the middle of a leaf that the mother giraffe beetle had rolled into a cigar shape.
Wow, whew. Imagine all that !!!
The question is (as stated in a Creation Research Society article)
"How did the giraffe (weevil) beetle know to select this particular tree and from where did this insect get the ability to lay just one egg and the wisdom to care for it so tenderly?"
Do you think this all happened by chance???

No, this is not about the Basketball Tournaments that are taking place and the Hoops that are involved in those games.
And here is hoping your team or teams are still in the mix and winning.
But, whether they are or not….
Today's DIT is one of those 'don't try this at home' things.
What is it?
Well a friend of DIT sent this to us.
It is, as the title says, A Man with a Large Hoop.
The video starts out rather innocuously but then rapidly progresses to some really interesting moves.
That is why we say this is a 'don't do this at home' thing.

Today's DIT is a real tear jerker.
What is it?
Well, you may have seen this on Yahoo news.
It seems that a man with terminal cancer had a 'last wish'
which was to visit the zoo where he had worked for years and years and say goodbye to the animals for which he had cared.
This brief video will touch your heart.

According to the calendar, Spring begins today.
Someone should tell the weather because many folks still are 'weathering' snow, ice, and its after effects.
Apparently the Groundhog prediction of 6 more weeks of winter was correct this year.
But, hopefully, according to the calendar, things will soon improve.
Flowers will bloom, trees will bud, birds will return, and the weather will get better.
No click through today. Instead, if Spring has come to your area, go outside and enjoy it.

What is that? ask the young'ens of today.
This really funny video will make you laugh and will bring back memories to the 'Old Timers'.

The mother of a friend of DIT had a terrific idea.
What was it?
Well, she realized that many folks would like to share their faith but sometimes are hesitant or not sure how to start the discussion.
Then the idea hit her --
If she, or anyone, would be wearing a pin on their clothing that would spark curiosity about it, this could be the open door --
And so the I'm a Believer pin was conceived.
Her son helped her with the design of the pin and with the making of the web page which tells more about this beautiful pin and how you can get one for yourself, should you so choose, and I hope you will.
So, for information about this beautiful conversation-starter pin and how you can get one (or more)

Today is St. Patrick's day.
You will likely see many folks wearing Green today.
Shamrocks will be everywhere.
And, alas, many will 'celebrate' by getting drunk.
But, why is this day 'celebrated'?
There are many stories and myths about St. Patrick.
Some are true and some are not.
So, the question is:
Who was St. Patrick?
Did he really drive snakes out of Ireland?
Was he a Saint?
These questions and more are answered in this very interesting and informational article by Dr. James Kennedy.

Years and Years ago, when Dinosaurs roamed the earth and several DIT'ers sang in a 'serious' Church Choir, we had music like this.
We even sang Sanctus frequently
but it was not this particular version.
The Sanctus we will hear today is by Mozart.
Prepare to Worship as you listen.

2014 is an important year for Ham Radio.
It is especially important for the ARRL (Amateur Radio Relay League).
Why? you ask.
Well 100 years ago, Radio and Ham Radio was a fledgling hobby / adventure.
Radio had only been recently invented and the Hams (Amateur Radio Operators) were experimenting with the possibilities that Radio presented to the world.
Then, in 1914, ARRL was established and Ham Radio 'took off' so to speak.
From those early beginnings Commercial Radio, TV, Digital transmissions, Satellites, Cell Phones, and many more inventions developed.
The ARRL Magazine, QST, began publishing in 1915.
So, What is ARRL?
What is Ham Radio?
And what is the history of Ham (Amateur) Radio?
This 25 minute You Tube video will explain.
Hint: when you view the video, click on the full screen view box -- you will be glad you did.

Now this is really interesting.
What is so interesting? you ask.
Well, it seems that each year the Barna Group does a survey to determine which Cities in the USA are the Most Bible Minded and which are the least.
The results of the survey for 2014 has just been posted.
A friend of DIT found this link and sent it to us.
Check out your city and see where it lands on the list.
Also look at the facts in the moving sidebar on the right hand side of the page.

Here is another collection of beautiful pictures of Natural Wonders found throughout the world.
This link was sent to us by a friend of DIT.
And, WOW, they are amazing.
By the way, when you see many layers, think Global Flood (as in the Flood of Noah) because in many, if not most instances,
when you see layers in mountains or road cuts, and the like --
that was their most likely etiology -- as depicted here in a cut away view of layers made by the world wide flood.
Now, without further ado, prepare to be amazed at these wonderful pictures

In most places 2:00 AM is the magic hour to set your clocks forward

It is Saturday which means many folks will do mini weekend trips
IF, of course, they are not snowbound or icebound or mudbound or whatever.
But, if you can't 'do' a weekend trip for whatever reason --
The DIT today will give you a wonderful vicarious travel experience in one short minute.
How so? you ask.
Well, as it says in the title….
"this man will show you more in one minute than you'll see in a lifetime"
How does this happen?
Well, "Rick Mereki spent 44 days, traveling 38,000 miles, across 11 countries, just to film this one-minute video."

What is it?

It could be described as "Time for total silliness"
which might be the understatement of the year.
But it is funny.

This is the title of a short but very interesting article about the intricate details found in structures in the human body, animals, bacteria, plants and
in everything that the Creator God made.
As you know, many folks say "no, there is no creator and this all happened by chance."
After you read this very short article if you still believe this all happened by chance, then I have oceanfront property in Phoenix, Arizona that I would like to sell you.

The weekend will soon be here and many of you will consider venturing out to see the just released movie, 'Son of God".
Before you do that, be sure to read the movie review to which we are linking today.
Because, this movie is, as we feared when seeing the TV ads, NOT one that properly depicts Jesus.
A friend found this review and sent its link to us.
Based on that review, we do not intend to see this movie and strongly suggest that you give it a pass also.
Well, the review will explain -- so without further ado
